Slenvox makes MP4 videos in five shapes: 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16. Paid plans download in Full HD (1080p), and you can change the shape after the video is made.
- 16:9, 1920 × 1080: YouTube, websites and presentations.
- 4:3, 1440 × 1080: presentations and older screens.
- 1:1, 1080 × 1080: social feeds.
- 4:5, 1080 × 1350: Instagram and LinkedIn feeds.
- 9:16, 1080 × 1920: YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels and Stories.
1Choose the Shape on the Create Page
Pick an Aspect Ratio in the Video Setup card. Choosing a Platform suggests a shape: YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram suggest 9:16, and YouTube suggests 16:9.
2Change the Shape on the Review Page
On a motion graphics video, open Aspect at the top and pick a shape. The preview changes right away and the graphics are refitted. On other videos, use the aspect ratio button in the top bar.
Go by the numbers, since the names differ between pages: 4:3 is Standard on the Create page and Classic on the review pages, and Portrait means 4:5 in the motion graphics editor but 9:16 in the other editor.
3Finalize in the New Shape
Finalize again to get the video in the new shape. A version at the same length uses no minutes.

Videos are H.264 MP4 at 30 frames per second, which plays on all common devices and platforms. Videos on the Free plan carry a slenvox.com watermark. 4K is not available yet.
