Export for DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro

Download and Export1 min read

On a Real Footage or AI Imagery video, click Export on the review page to download a ZIP with every scene as a clip, the music, the subtitles and a timeline file. DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro open the timeline directly. In Premiere Pro, you place the clips yourself.

Good to Know
  • Export is on the review page of Real Footage and AI Imagery videos. Motion graphics videos do not have it yet.
  • The clips look the same as the preview: subtitles, overlays, layouts, logo and color are part of the picture.
  • Transitions between scenes are not part of the timeline.
  • Exports on the Free plan carry the watermark.

1Wait for Every Scene

Export appears at the top of the review page once every scene is ready or has failed.

2Click Export

Slenvox shows Packaging Your Project while it renders the scenes and builds the timeline. This can take a few minutes, and the download starts by itself when it is ready.

3Unzip the File

The ZIP holds a clips folder with one numbered MP4 per scene, narration included; a music folder with the full music mix and the source songs; timeline.fcpxml; subtitles.srt; and PREVIEW_reference.mp4 if you finalized the video before.

Tip

Keep the clips folder in the same place as timeline.fcpxml, or your editor cannot find the clips.

4Open in DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro

In DaVinci Resolve, choose File > Import > Timeline and select timeline.fcpxml. In Final Cut Pro, choose File > Import > XML.

5Use the Clips in Premiere Pro

Premiere Pro does not open .fcpxml timelines. Import the clips folder, select the numbered clips in order and drag them onto a new sequence. Add music/background_mix.wav on an audio track, and import subtitles.srt for captions.
